He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Detroit-based Henry Ford Hospital System. Subsequently, he completed spine surgery fellowship at The University of Maryland, one of the most comprehensive spine surgery fellowships in the country. During fellowship he rotated through the Shock Trauma Center, University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore VA Medical Center, and Baltimore Washington Medical Center. During all of his training, Dr. Buraimoh was active in research and authored numerous research papers and presentations. He is a member of the North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Buraimoh is driven to provide the highest quality patient care. He believes that excellent patient care starts with listening to and answering questions honestly and plainly and continues with assisting patients in developing personalized, actionable plans aimed at alleviating pain and recovering function.

Dr. Buraimoh’s practice at CAO OrthoMaryland encompasses treatment of a wide range of spinal disorders, including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar conditions. He has expertise in diagnosis of spinal conditions and spine surgery, including microsurgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, as well as traditional open techniques. Still, Dr. Buraimoh is conservative in approach.  When asked what one thing he would want his patients to know about him, Dr. Buraimoh said “I would not recommend anything to a patient that I wouldn’t recommend for myself, a family member, or friend” in the same condition. Dr. Buraimoh will recommend simple conservative treatments when appropriate including NSAIDs (eg. meloxicam, naproxen), tylenol, physical therapy, and nerve medication. However, please note that he is not a pain management physician.

In his spare time, Dr. Buraimoh enjoys music, working out, watching movies, and being outdoors, particularly when working on a new hobby: golf.
